Family fun rises to a new level this summer as Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park debuts its newest thrill ride: Conestoga. Standing tall along the shores of Lake Winnepesaukah, Conestoga is a wild new attraction which is certain to fill the faces of guests with smiles and laughter. "We're excited about this new attraction," says Talley Rhodes of Lake Winnepesaukah. "Not only is it a new ride for Lake Winnepesaukah, but it's a whole new type of thrill for our guests to enjoy this summer."

The high-rising attraction is modeled after the classic covered wagons of yesteryear, but guests shouldn't be fooled by its peaceful look. Sitting face-to-face with one another, guests are lifted swiftly into the air, reaching the same height as Lake Winnepesaukah's mighty Cannon Ball Roller Coaster. Conestoga doesn't let guests get too lost in the spectacular view as it then plummets riders just as quickly back down to the ground and then does it all over again. It's a fun, stomach dropping experience that is guaranteed to delight guests for years to come.

Conestoga continues a tradition of providing unique and fun thrills for all guests. It's a tradition that began over seventy years ago with the debut of The Boat Chute and continued additions such as the Cannon Ball, the Fly-O-Plane, and, in 2001, with the arrival of the Wild Lightnin' Roller Coaster. "Conestoga is our way of providing a new and unique treat for our guests," adds Talley Rhodes. "Its excitement and a spectacular ride have found a home at Lake Winnepesaukah, the South's favorite family amusement park."
