THIRD ANNUAL BUD & BBQ FEST BRINGS AN ALL-AMERICAN FESTIVAL TO SEAWORLD ORLANDO

Orlando, Fla. (Feb. 2003) - SeaWorld Orlando is firing up the grill and turning up the music for two weekends of mouthwatering fun during the third-annual Bud & BBQ Fest, March 22, 23, 29 and 30. This all-American event features live performances by hot country artists, bodacious barbecue from select U.S. regions, ice-cold Anheuser-Busch products, country clogging and plenty of southern hospitality.

The Fun Card allows guests unlimited visits to SeaWorld Orlando in 2003 for the price of a single-day admission. All Bud & BBQ Fest activities and musical performances are included with park admission. There is an additional charge for food items.

Country fans will toe tap and boot scoot to the tunes of the high-octane entertainment lineup that includes:

March 22

Tommy Shane Steiner (2 p.m.) -- hot young country crooner

John Michael Montgomery (6 p.m.) -- platinum selling artist with 11 number one singles

March 23

Darryl Worley (2 p.m.) -- highly expressive, Billboard Top 15 Country Album singer

Keith Urban (6 p.m.) -- Australian country singer and CMA Horizon Award winner

March 29

Lonestar (6 p.m.) -- Grammy-nominated, triple-platinum, Billboard #1 single group

Plenty of good eatin’ will be available at the lip-smackin’, finger-lickin’ barbecue food stations. SeaWorld chefs researched down-home recipes from all over the South to create this smorgasbord of tantalizing, a-la-carte barbecue selections being served at SeaWorld’s Penguin Plaza.

The menu includes "Georgia-style" peach and pecan barbecue chicken, "Carolina-style" pulled pork, "Floribbean-style" barbecue salmon, barbequed baby back ribs, spare ribs, grilled kielbasa and peppers, slow-smoked brisket and other delectable dishes.

The bill of fare also will feature an assortment of country cuisine made with guests’ favorite Anheuser-Busch products, including "Bud-Be-Cued" chicken, Amber Bock barbecue pork sandwich and Doc Otis mahi mahi.

Delicious desserts include strawberry shortcake, apple cobbler, peach cobbler and home-made brownies.

Racing fans can view top speed machines including the Miss Budweiser hydroplane and the No. 8 Budweiser car driven by Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Also on display will be the Bacardi Silver Mustang convertible and the "180" motorcycle, with appearances by the famous Bud Girls.

Rounding out the entertainment are the Clog ’n FX dancers -- one of the country’s top clogging and line-dancing teams -- country hit cover band Stampede, Roanoke Blue Grass, and a costumed Shamu character decked out in his cowboy duds.

Park operating hours for Bud & BBQ Fest are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., March 22, 23, 29 and 30. For more information, call (407) 363-2259 or visit www.seaworld.com.
