SeaWorld Celebrates 26th Annual Easter Sunrise Service
ORLANDO, Fla. (March 6, 2001) - SeaWorld Orlando and local area churches will
celebrate Easter this year with the 26th Annual Easter Sunrise Service, an
inter-denominational service that is open to the public and free of charge. The
one-hour program begins at 6 a.m., Sunday, March 31, at SeaWorld's Bayside
Stadium. Seating begins at 5:30 a.m.
The guest speaker will be Steve Douglass, president of Campus Crusade for
Christ, International and author of several books. The master of ceremonies for
this year's service will be Lisa Williams, Z88.3 morning radio host. Orlando
Mayor Glenda Hood will read the scripture.
Ragan Vandergriff, Florida Fire Chiefs Association chaplain, will lead a special
tribute to the victims of September 11. Gospel Music Association Dove Award
winners Kenn and Angela Mann will be the special musical guests.
The service will air locally on WTGL-TV, Channel 52 and WLCB-TV, Channel 45, as
well as on several FamilyNet television stations and the Daystar Television
Network.
