Camp Minnie-Mickey
Camp Minnie-Mickey is like a summer camp for the classic Disney characters -- a woodsy getaway where kids can meet Mickey, Minnie and friends among pine trees and mountain streams.

Festival of the Lion King. This spectacular show features song, dance, and acrobatics in a high energy, crowd-rousing celebration of African rhythms. It doesn't tell the story of the animated The Lion King so much as use the material, the characters, and the music as a starting point for a tribal ritual. The theater is now air-conditioned, making it a great stop on summer afternoons. The show is justifiably popular, and the arena-like theatre-in-the-round is huge, so come early to get a good seat. You won't want to miss this excellent show.
Pocahontas and her Forest Friends. The forest is in danger but, as Grandmother Willow informs Pocahontas, there is one creature who has the power to save it... but which one? Could it be the porcupine with his quills? What about the skunk with his scent? Or the snake, or the rat, or the rabbit, or others, each with their own special talents? As she investigates each animal's place in the forest we meet real, live rabbits, skunks, rats, snakes, and even a raccoon (you didn't expect her friend Meeko to stay out of this, did you)?
The theater is a bit crowded, but children are encouraged to sit up front where they can get a good view of the small animals. The area is shaded by trees but still open. The show lasts about 12 minutes.
Character Greeting Trails. Camp Minnie-Mickey, being where the Disney characters go to summer camp, is the place in Animal Kingdom to meet Mickey Mouse and friends. Trails lead to separate meet and greet pavilions featuring different characters throughout the day. Check the signs to see who may be found where and hit the trail.

Camp Soft Serve. Kid pleasing snacks including ice cream.
Where To?
Camp Minnie-Mickey is accessible only from Discovery Island.
