Epcot's Future World is intended as a showcase of new technologies and an educational introduction to the sciences. It is also a showcase for industry, as the attractions are sponsored by major corporations like GM and Siemens. Vaguely circular in shape, the outer ring (really two half circles, East and West) is made up of large, single subject oriented pavilions, while the inner circle (also really two half circles, also divided East and West) is made up of two giant buildings and holds a variety of exhibits (Innoventions), shops, and restaurants.
